Catherine was a very special person in all of our lives. She was kind, accepting and her care and consideration for others was displayed in every sphere of her life. Her family was the centre of her life - she loved nothing more than to be within their company enjoying happy times. Her love and guidance will be sadly missed by them all. Her second love was bowling and Giffnock Bowling Club. To be chosen as Honorary Lady President meant a great deal to her and she took a tremendous pride in executing her duties in this role. Equally in the past she brought many honours to the club at both National and International level, an achievement both she and her family were very proud of.
